The ongoing battle for net neutrality has taken a new turn as a group that calls itself AnonOpsIndia on Twitter has hacked the Indian Telecom Authority (TRAI) website.
This move comes after TRAI had made public the contact details of all the people who had written a mail to advqos@trai.gov.in in order to support net neutrality.
The Anon group has hacked the website by the most common method of inducing a DDoS- Denial of Distributed service attack.
The TRAIs website has not been loading for the past 30 minutes and it seems that the Government organisation was taken aback by this surprised attack.
The hackers group later ridiculed TRAI on twitter for being unable to manage their own servers and handle a DDoS attack.
TRAI down! Fuck you http://t.co/5bNzEGt4oU for releasing email IDs publicly and helping spammers. You will be hacked soon!

haha what good is #TRAI if they can’t manage their own fucking servers. Useless.

#TRAI is so incompetent lol They have any clue how to tackle a DDoS?
